    عَدْلي يَكَن (١٢٨٠ - ١٣٥٢ هـ = ١٨٦٤ - ١٩٣٣ م) عدلي " باشا " بن خليل بن إبراهيم يكن: من رجال السياسة بمصر. ولد في القاهرة، وتعلم في بعض المدارس الأجنبية بها. وتقدم في المناصب إلى أن كان وزيرا للخارجية، فوزيرا للمعارف، ثم رئيسا للوزارة ثلاث مرات (سنة ١٩٢١ و ٢٦ و ٢٩ م) ذهب في أولاها، [[عدلي يكن]] على غير رضى الجمهور المصري، إلى لندن لمفاوضة الإنجليز في قضية مصر السياسية، وفشل. وهو من مؤسسي حزب " الأحرار الدستوريين ". واتهم في صلابتهالسياسية، لخلافه مع سعد زغلول. وكان قويا في نفسه، مهيبا، وضي الخلق. توفي في باريس ونقل إلى القاهرة (١) .
