ابن عَرَبيَّة (٦٠٠ - ٦٥٩ هـ = ١٢٠٣ - ١٢٦٠ م) عثمان بن عتيق بن عثمان القيسي، أبو عمرو، المعروف بابن عربية: شاعر، من فضلاء " المهدية " بالمغرب. ولد بها، وانتقل إلى تونس. وولي قضاء " تبرسق " وتوفي فيها، ودفن بجبل الرحمة. له تصانيف، منها " قصائد المدح ومصائد المنح " ديوانشعره، وآثار السحابة في شعراء الصحابة و " حوامع الكلم النبويّة " (١) .
