    ابن الحَوْراني (٠٠٠ - بعد ١١١٧ هـ = ٠٠٠ - بعد ١٧٠٥ م) عثمان بن أحمد بن محمد بن رجب بن سويح بن سعيد السويدي الحوراني ثم الدمشقيّ: واعظ في الجامع الأموي، من أهل الشاغور في دمشق. وله كتب، منها[[عثمان بن أحمد النجدي الحنبلي عن مخطوطة من كتاب " منتهى الإرادات " في المكتبة الأزهرية " ١٩ فقه حنبلي - ٥٤٠٢ "]] . " الإرشاد إلى طريق الرشاد " و " إرشاد الطلاب الى معاشرة الأحباب " و " بلوغ المنى في أسباب الغنى " و " الإشارات إلى أماكن الزيارات - ط " أنجز تأليفه سنة ١١١٧ وهو غير الكتاب المسمى بهذا الاسم، من تأليف محمود بن محمد الزوكاري المتوفى سنة ١٠٣٢ (١) .
