    ابن قائِد (٠٠٠ - ١٠٩٧ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ١٦٨٦ م) عثمان بن أحمد بن سعيد بن عثمان بن قائد النجدي: فقيه، من أفاضلالنجديين. ولد في العيينة (بنجد) ورحل إلى دمشق فأخذ عن علمائها. وانتقل إلى القاهرة فتوفي فيها. له " هداية الراغب في شرح عمدة الطالب - خ " في فقه الحنابلة، و " حواش على منتهى الإرادات - خ " فقه، ورسالة في " الرضاع " و " نجاة الخلف في اعتقاد السلف - ط " واختصر " درة الغواص " مع تعقبات يسيرة (١) .
