    عُبَيْدة الطُّنْبُورية (٠٠٠ - نحو ٢٢٥ هـ = ٠٠٠ - نحو ٨٤٠ م) عبيدة الطنبورية: من المحسنات المتقدمات في صناعة الغناء والمعرفة بالأدب، من أهل بغداد. وبعض علماء الفن من معاصريها يرون لها الرياسة والأستاذية في صناعتها. كانت من أحسن الناس وجها وأطيبهم صوتا. وكان إسحاق بن إبراهيم يقول: الطنبور إذا تجاوز عبيدة هذيان. توقيت في أيام المعتصم العباسي (٣) .
