    ابن خزداذبة (٣) (نحو ٢٠٥ - نحو ٢٨٠ هـ = نحو ٨٢٠ - نحو ٨٩٣ م) عبيد الله بن أحمد بن خرداذبه، أبو القاسم: مؤرخ جغرافي، فارسي الأصل. من أهل بغداد. كان جده خرداذبه مجوسيا أسلم على يد البرامكة. واتصل عبيد الله بالمعتمد العباسي، فولاه البريد والخبر بنواحي الجبل، وجعله من ندمائه. له تصانيف، منها " المسالك والممالك - ط " و " جمهرة أنساب الفرس " و " اللهو والملاهي - ط " مختارات منه، و " الشراب "و " الندماء والجلساء " و " أدب السماع " (١) .
