عَبْد يَغُوث (٠٠٠ - نحو ٤٠ ق هـ = ٠٠٠ - نحو ٥٨٤ م) عبد يغوث بن صلاءة بن ربيعة، من بني الحارث بن كعب، من قحطان: شاعر جاهلي يماني، وفارس معدود. كان سيد فومه من بني الحارث وقائدهم، وهو صاحب القصيدة التي مطلعها: " ألا لا تلوماني كفى اللوم مابيا " وأسر في بعض الوقائع، فخير كيف يرغب أن يموت، فاختار أن يشرب الخمر صرفا ويقطع عرقه الأكحل، فمات نزفا (٤) .أبُو العِبَر = محمد بن أحمد ٢٥٠
