    طالِب الْحَقّ (٠٠٠ - ١٣٠ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ٧٤٨ م) عبد الله بن يحيى بن عمر بن الأسود الكندي الجندي الحضرميّ، أبويحيى، الملقب بطالب الحق: إمام إباضي، من أهل اليمن. كان قاضيا بحضرموت. وخلع طاعة مروان بن محمد. وبويع له بالخلافة. واستولى على صنهاء ومكة، بعد حروب. وعظم أمره، وتبعه أّبُو حَمْزَة " المختار بن عوف " فوجه إليهما مروان جيشا بقيادة عبد الملك بن محمد السعدي، فالتقى عبد الملك ب أبي حمزة، في وادي القرى (من أعمال المدينة) فقتله، واستمر زاحفا نحو اليمن، فأقبل إليه طالب الحق، فالتقيا على مقربة من صنعاء، فاقتتلا، فقتل طالب الحق وأرسل رأسه إلى مروان بالشام (١) .
