الشَّهِيد الثالث (٠٠٠ - ٩٩٧ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ١٥٨٩ م) عبد الله بن محمود بن السعيد، شهاب الدين التستري الخراساني فقيه إمامي. ولد في تستر وتعلم في شيراز. ورحل إلى سورية، فأخذ عن علماء جبل عامل. وانتقل إلى خراسان. وعلا مقامه عند السلطان طهماسب الصفوي. ورحل الى وراء النهر، فقتل في بخارى على التشيع، وأحرق جسده في ميدانها. له كتاب في " الإمامة " وكتاب " الأربعين في فضائل أمير المؤمنين " (٢) .
