عبد السلام البَغْدادي (٧٧٦ - ٨٥٩ هـ = ١٣٧٤ - ١٤٥٥ م) عبد السلام بن أحمد بن عبد المنعم البغدادي ثم القاهري، الحنبلي ثم الحنفي: فاضل مشارك، بغدادي. قام برحلات كثيرة. واستقر في القاهرة. وطال عمره حتى كان أكثر فضلاء الديار المصرية من تلاميذه. وكان سريع النظم. بدأ بجمع منظوماته في (ديوان) على حروف المعجم، وكتب قطعة منه. وله (تعاليق) على إيساغوجي والشمسية والألفية والتوضيح مما أملاه على الطلبة. أسهب السخاوي في ترجمته (١) .
