ابن البَعْلَبَكّي (٦٨٥ - ٧٣٢ هـ = ١٢٨٦ - ١٣٣٢ م) عبد الرحمن بن محمد بن عبد الرحمن ابن يوسف بن محمد البعلبكي ثم الدمشقيّ، أبو بكر فخر الدين: فاضل حنبلي، من المشتغلين بالحديث. سمع بالقاهرة والاسكندرية وحلب وحماة وحمص وبعلبكّ والحجاز والقدس. وخرّج لنفسه ولغيره. قال ابن حجر: له (مجموعات) حسنة. وقال ابن قاضي شهبة: من مجموعاته في الحديث والرقائق كتاب (الثمر الرائق المجتنى من الحدائق) (٣) .
