ابن عَوّاد (٠٠٠ - ١٢٩٣ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ١٨٧٦ م) عبد الرحمن بن عواد: قاض حجازي، مولده ووفاته في ينبع. تعلم بالأزهر، وتفقه بالحنفية، ورحل إلى جغبوب. وولي قضاء ينبع سنة ١٢٨٠ هـ واستمر إلى أن توفي. بلغني من بعض آل عواد في الحجاز أن له مؤلفات.
