    عَبْد الحَميد كَرَامَة (١٣٠٥ - ١٣٧٠ هـ = ١٨٨٨ - ١٩٥٠ م) عبد الحميد بن رشيد بن مصطفى كرامة: زعيم وطني. من أهل طرابلس الشام. كان مفتيها، والإفتاء قديم في أسرته بها. وكان صلبا في وطنيته، عالي الصوت في مقاومة الاستعمار. حاول الفرنسيون استمالته، أيام احتلالهم لبنان، فجعلوه حاكما لبلده وما حولها، فلم ينفعهم، فآذوه وسجنوه. وظل الطرابلسيون ملتفّين حوله. وتولى رياسة الوزارة اللبنانية، سنة ١٩٤٥ م، في عهد الاستقلال. ثم استقال مبتعدا عن تحمل التبعات. وله مواقف مذكورة في مجلس النواب اللبناني ببيروت (١) . عبد الحميد الزهراوي = عبد الحميد بن محمد ١٣٣٤
