العباس بن مُوسى (٠٠٠ - ١٩٩ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ٨١٥ م) العباس بن موسى بن عيسى العباسي الهاشمي: أمير. ولي الديار المصرية للمأمون، سنة ١٩٨ هـ فأرسل ابنه (عبد الله) نائبا عنه. وتشدد هذا، فثار عليه أهل مصر، فقاتلهم، فأخرجوه وأعادوا أميرهم الّذي كان قبله (المطلب ابن عبد الله) وعلم العباس - صاحب الترجمة - بما وقع لابنه، فقصد مصر سنة ١٩٩ هـ ونزل ببلبيس ثم مضى إلى الحوف، فمرض وهو يقاتل رجال (المطلب) فعاد إلى بلبيس، فمات فيها (١) .
