عَبَّاس حافِظ (١٣١١؟ - ١٣٧٨ هـ = ١٨٩٣ - ١٩٥٩ م) عباس حافظ: كاتب مصري، كثير الترجمة عن الإنكليزية. كان محررا بجريدة البلاغ (المصرية) وتوفي بالقاهرة. نقل إلى العربية ١٨ مسرحية، وكتبا منها (العقل الباطن وعلاقته بالأمراض النفسية - ط) والأصل لسادلر. و (سلمى - ط) و (الشهداء - ط) و (الفردوس المسموم - ط) ومن تأليفه المطبوعة (علم النفس الاجتماعي) و (الزعامة والزعيم) و (دموع وضحكات) و (مصطفى النحاس) سيرته (٢) .
