    طِرَاد بن دُبَيْس (٠٠٠ - ٤١٨ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ١٠٢٧ م) طراد بن دبيس الأسدي: أمير. ورث إمارة الجزيرة الدبيسية (بجوار خوزستان) عن آبائه. وكان يشاركه فيها بعض إخوته. ووقعت معارك بينهم وبين بني مزيد الأسديين أصحاب (الحلة) في العراق، فقتل اثنان من إخوة طراد(نبهان وحسان) سنة ٤٠٥ هـ وأخرجوا من الجزيرة. ثم استعادوها بعد غارة قام بها مضر بن دبيس (أخو طراد) واستقر طراد بعد ذلك، في الإمارة، إلى أن قاتله منصور بن الحسين الأسدي، متفقا مع جلال الدولة أبي طاهر بن بهاء الدولة، فأخرج طراد من الجزيرة سنة ٤١٨ هـ وتوفي بعد ذلك بيسير (١) .
