    ضبع بن وَبَرَة (٠٠٠ - ٠٠٠ = ٠٠٠ - ٠٠٠) ضبع بن وبرة بن تغلب، من قضاعة، من قحطان: جدّ جاهلي. يتصل به نسب الضجاعمة. كان في صباه ينزل مع إخوته (كلب، وذئب، وفهد، وسرحان، ونمر) في مكان ببادية الكوفة، سمي بسببهم (وادي السباع) ولهذه التسمية قصة طريفة، تجدها في معجم البلدان والتاج (١). الضُّبَعي = وائل بن شرحبيل الضُّبَعي = نصر بن عمران ١٢٨ ابن ضبة (الشاعر) = يزيد بن مِقْسَم نحو ١٣٠
