صَلَاح بن أَحْمَد (١٠١٥ - ١٠٧٠ هـ = ١٦٠٦ - ١٦٦٠ م) صلاح بن أحمد بن مهدي المؤيدي الحسني: فقيه يماني، من مجتهدي الزيدية. ولاه الإمام المؤيد (محمد بن القاسم) ولاية عامة. له تصانيف، منها (قنطرة الوصول إلى علم الأصول - خ) و (شرح شواهد النحو) و (شرح الهداية) فقه، و (ديوان شعر) . وكان فارسا شجاعا، مظفرا في جميع حروبه، معمور المجلس بالعلماء والأدباء. عاش مقاتلا للترك العثمانيين، فحاصر صنعاء مع الحسن والحسين ابني الإمام القاسم، وافتتح مدينة أبي عريش. مولده بصنعاء، ووفاته بقلعة غمار (بضم الغين) من جبل رازح (٢) .
