سَهْم بن غَالِب (٠٠٠ - ٥٤ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ٦٧٤ م) سهم بن غالب الهجيمي: من زعماء الثائرين على معاوية. خرج سنة ٤١هـ بالبصرة، وقاتل حتى فني أكثر أصحابه، فاستخفى. ثم ظهر، فطلبه زياد ابن أبيه، فتوارى. وما زال كذلك حتى قبض عليه عبيد الله بن زياد فصلبه في البصرة. وقيل: صلبه زياد. وفيه يقول الشاعر: (فإن تكن الأحزاب باءت بصلبه ... فلا يبعدنّ الله سهم بن غالب) (٤)
