    سليم بن منصور (٠٠٠ - ٠٠٠ = ٠٠٠ - ٠٠٠) سليم بن منصور بن عكرمة: جدّ جاهلي. بنوه قبيلة عظيمة من قيس عيلان، من مضر. كانت منازلها في عالية نجد، بالقرب من خيبر. وتفرقت في شرقي إفريقية والمغرب. وأستقرَّ بعضهم في البحرين وعمان، كانوا جندا للقرامطة. النسبة إليه سلميّ (بضم ففتح) وقال الأشرف الرسولي: بطون سليم: بنو عصية، ونبو بهز، وبنو بهثة، وبنو زعب، وبنو زعل، وبنو مطرود، وبنو ذكوان، وبنو الشريد وهم رهط الخنساء. قلت: وللاستاذ عبد القدوس الأنصاري، صاحب مجلة (المنهل) كتاب (بنو سليم - ط) في تاريخهم وأما كنهم وكل ما يتصل بهم (١) .
