سَلْمَان بن عَميرة (٠٠٠ - ٠٠٠ = ٠٠٠ - ٠٠٠) سلمان بن عميرة بن سلمان بن معاوية، من بني سفيان بن أرحب، من همدان: جدّ جاهلي يماني. كان يعرف بسلمان الأصغر تمييزا له عن جده سلمان بن معاوية. بنوه بطون متعددة، كانت لها السيادة في بطون بني سفيان جميعا. ويصفهم الهمدانيّ بأنهم (أغير العرب) على نسائهم (٥) .
