    بنت الكَمَال (٦٤٦ - ٧٤٠ هـ = ١٢٤٨ - ١٣٣٩ م) زينب بنت أحمد بن عبد الرحيم المقدسية المعروفة ببنت الكمال: شيخة عالمة بالحديث. من أهل بيت المقدس. قال ابن حجر: روت الكثير، وتزاحم عليها الطلبة. وقرأوا عليها الكتب الكبار. وقال الذهبي: تفردت بقدر وقر بعير من الأجزاء بالإجازة. وقال الكتاني: عندي جزء خرّجه لها الحافظ عَلَم الدِّين البِرْزالي من مروياتها. فيه ٣١ حديثا، وهي عن شيخين بالسماع وعن خمسة بالإجازة وعليه عدة سماعات لعدة من الأئمة. أصيبت عينها برمد في صغرها ولم تتزوج. وهي آخر من روى في الدنيا عن سبط السلفي وجماعة بالإجازة (٢) .
