زِياد البَكَّائِي (٠٠٠ - ١٨٣ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ٧٩٩ م) زياد بن عبد الله بن طفيل القيسي العامري البكائي، أبو محمد: راوي السيرة النبويّة عن محمد بن إسحاق، وعنه رواها عبد الملك بن هشام الّذي رتبها ونسبت إليه. وهو من أهل الكوفة. كان ثقفة في الحديث. نسبته إلى البكاء ربيعة بن عامر بن صعصعة (٢) .
