زِيَاد بن حُنَاطة (٠٠٠ - ٧٥ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ٦٩٥ م) زياد بن حناطة التُّجيبى: أحد النبلاء العقلاء، ممن كان بمصر بعد افتتاحها. وتم على يديه، وأيدي آخرين، الصلح بين أهلها ومروان بن الحكم (سنة ٦٥ هـ وتولى شرطتها، مكان عابس بن سعيد، سنة ٦٨ هـ واستخلفه عبد العزيز بن مروان على إمرتها حين خرج إلى الشام وافدا على أخيه عبد الملك، فلم يمكث زياد غير قليل وتوفي (٣) .
