رُشَيْد الدَّحْدَاح (١٢٢٨ - ١٣٠٦ هـ = ١٨١٣ - ١٨٨٩ م) رشيد بن غالب بن سلوم: فاضلوجيه، من مسيحيي لبنان. اتخذه الأمير بشير الشه أبي كاتبا الاسراره. ولما خلع الأمير، رحل رشيد إلى مرسيلية فتعاطى التجارة ومنحه البابا بيوس التاسع لقب (كونت) وعظمت ثروته. مولده في عرامون (من قرى كسروان بلبنان) ووفاته على ساحل بحر المانش في شمالي فرنسة. له كتاب (طرب المسامع - ط) في الأدب، و (قمطرة طوامير - ط) مجموع مقالات، و (والسيّار المشرق في بوار المشرق - خ) تاريخ كبير، و (شرح ديوان ابن الفارض - ط) (١) .
