    ربيع بن ضبع (٠٠٠ - ٠٠٠ = ٠٠٠ - ٠٠٠) ربيع بن ضبع بن وهب بن بغيض الفزاري الذبيانيّ: شاعر جاهلي معمر، من الفرسان. كان أحكم العرب في زمانه ومن أشعرهم وأخطبهم. شهد يوم الهباءة وهو ابن مئة عام، وقاتل في حرب داحس. وأدرك الإسلام وقد كبر وخرف فقيل أسلم وقيل منعه قومه أن يسلم. وهو صاحب الأبيات التي منها: (وكم غمرة ماجت بأمواج غمرة تجرعتها بالصبر حتى تجلت) (١)
