الدُّعَام الأَرْحَبي (٠٠٠ - نحو ٢٩٨ هـ = ٠٠٠ - نحو ٩١٠ م) الدعام بن إبراهيم بن عبد الله بن يأس الأرحبيّ: شيخ كهلان، بل سيد همدان، في عصره. اشتهر بالنجدة والفروسية والدهاء والجود. قال الهمدانيّ: (وهو الّذي قام على آل يعفر - في اليمن - فاستلب الملكة منهم، وملك بلدهم، وتأمر بصنعاء، وجبيت إليه المين إلى ساحل عدن (واستعان آل يعفر) بالموفق والمعتضد، فخرج الدعام من صنعاء، ثم عاد إليها مع الهادي إِلى الحَقّ (يحيى بن الحسين) سنة ٢٨٨ هـ وسلمه بلد همدان، وقاتل معه القرامطة وغيرهم، وظلّ معه إلى آخر أيامه (٢) .
