خالد العَظْم (١٣١٣ - ١٣٨٤ هـ = ١٨٩٥ - ١٩٦٤ م) خالد بن محمد فوزي العظم: رئيس حكومة. مولده ووفاته في دمشق. تعلم بها الحقوق، وعينه الفرنسيون (سنة١٩٤١) فوكالة الدفاع فالعدلية فالاقتصاد الوطني - ثم عين وزيرامفوضا في باريس (١٩٤٧) وتكررت رئاسته للوزارة (١٩٥٠، ٥١ و ١٩٦٢) . وبعد انقلاب ١٩٦٣ أقام في بيروت إلى أن توفي. له (مذكرات - ط) باعتها زوجته بعد وفاته، ويقال إنه دخلها تحريف وتبديل، ونشر بعضها متسلسلا في جريدة النهار. ثم نشرت كاملة في كتاب (١) .
