    خالد السَّدُوسي (٠٠٠ - ٢٦٩ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ٨٨٢ م) خالد بن أحمد بن خالد السدوسيّ الذهلي، أبو الهيثم: أحد الأمراء في العهد العباسي. ولي إمرة خراسان، ثم بخارى وسكنها، وله بها آثار محمودة. وكان عالما بالحديث، فاستقدم إليها بعض كبار الحفاظ، وصنف له نصر بن أحمد البغدادي (مسندا) وطلب من الإمام محمد بن إسماعيل البخاري أن يوافيه، فامتنع، فأخرجه من بخارى إلى ناحية سمرقند فمات في إحدى قراها. وبلغ المعتمد (الخليفة العباسي) عنه ما أحقده عليه. واستأذن خالد للحج، فأذن له المعتمد، فمرّ ببغداد سنة ٢٦٩ هـ فقبض عليه وحبسه، فمات بها في الحبس (٣) .
