أَعْشَى نَعَامة (٠٠٠ - نحو ١٠٠ هـ = ٠٠٠ - نحو ٧١٨ م) حيدان بن جياش النّعامي: شاعر إسلامي. من بني النعامة. وهم بطن من كلب، من قضاعة، كان سيدا في قومه. وعمي لما كبر. ووفد على عبد الملك ابن مروان في دين عليه فأعطاه. ثم احتاج الى غلام يقوده، فقال لعمر بن عبد العزيز (من أبيات) : لك الخير، ياخير البرية كلّها أعنّي بإنسان يرى فيريني!
