    الإِمَام حَسَن (٠٠٠ - ١٠٢٤ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ١٦١٥ م) حسن بن علي بن داود بن الحسن بن علي بن المؤيد: إمام اليمن في عصره. قام بها سنة ٩٨٥ هـ في صعدة، ففتح عدة قرى وتسلم عدة حصون، فوجه إليه مراد باشا (والي اليمن) جيشا بقيادة الأمير سنان، فاعتصم الإمام في جبل الأهنوم، ثم ضعف أمره، فاستسلم، فأرسل مع جماعة من أصحابه إلى بلاد الروم (تركية) وتوفي فيها. ورأى الشوكاني (سيرته) في مجلد (٢) .

    الإِمام حَسَن (٩٩٦ - ١٠٤٨ هـ = ١٥٨٨ - ١٦٣٩ م) حسن بن القاسم بن محمد بن علي: سيد، من ملوك اليمن. كان شجاعا حازما. أخرج الترك من اليمن، واستقل به مع أخويه (محمد وإسماعيل) ولما استولى على زبيد أحسن إلى من كان فيها من الترك، ولم يؤذ أحدا منهم. وكان موفقا في حروبه، لم ينهزم له جيش. وهو الّذي اختط مدينة ضوران. دامت له الإمارة نحو خمسة عشرعاماَ وتوفي بضوران. ومنشأه بصنعاء (١) .
