    المُهَذَّب الأُسْواني (٠٠٠ - ٥٦١ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ١١٦٦ م) الحسن بن علي بن إبراهيم ابن الزبير الغساني الأسواني، أبو محمد، الملقب بالمهذّب: شاعر من أهل أسوان (بصعيد مصر) وفاته بالقاهرة. وهو أخو الرَّشِيد الغساني (أحمد بن علي) قال العماد الأصبهاني: لم يكن بمصر في زمن المهذب أشعر منه. واشتغل في علوم القرآن، فصنف (تفسيرا) في خمسين جزءا. وله (ديوان شعر) وقال ابن شاكر: اختص بالصالح بن رزيك، ويقال إن أكثر الشعر الّذي في ديوان الصالح إنما هو من شعر المهذب (٢) .
