    الجن أبي القِرْمِطي (٠٠٠ - ٣٠١ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ٩١٤ م) الحسن بن بهرام الجنابي، أبو سعيد: كبير القرامطة ومعلن مذهبهم. كان دقاقا، من أهل جنابة (بفارس) ونفي منها، فأقام في البحرين تاجرا. وجعل يدعو العرب إلى نحلته، فعظم أمره. فحاربه الخليفة، فظفر الحسن. وصافاهالمقتدر العباسي. وكان أصحابه يسمونه (السيد) . استولى على هجر والأحساء والقطيف وسائر بلاد البحرين. وكان شجاعا، داهية. قتله خادم له صقلبي في الحمام، بهجر (١) .
