    الحارِث الطَّائي (٠٠٠ - بعد ١١٢ هـ = ٠٠٠ - بعد ٧٣٠ م) الحارث بن عمرو الطائي: وال، من القادة. ولي إمرة البلقاء في خلافة عمر بن عبد العزيز، ثم ولي أرمينية سنة ١٠٧هـ وبعثه سليمان بن عبد الملك إلى المدينة. ثم كان واليا على أذربيجان سنة ١٠٨ هـ وأغار عليه الترك سنة ١١١ هـ فهزمهم بعد قتال شديد واستباح عسكرهم. وكان حيا سنة ١١٢ هـ (٣) .
