جَعْفَر هَاشِم (٠٠٠ - ١٣٤٢ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ١٩٢٤ م) جعفر بن حسين بن يحيى بن إبراهيم ابن هاشم الحسني المدني: خطاط، له اشتغال في التاريخ. مولده ووفاته بالمدينة المنورة. نسخ كثيرا من تواريخها، بخطه. ورسم خارطة مكبرة للمسجد النبوي. وحلى بعض كتبه بتعليقات مفيدة. ووقف مخطوطاته في داره. فآلت الى مكتبة الأسرة (آل هاشم) بالمدينة. له رسالة في (الزيارة - ط) مختصرة، وكتاب (الأخبار الغريبة في ذكر ما وقع بطيبة الحبيبة - خ) بخطه في مكتبة أسرته وكتاب في (تاريخ المدينة) (٣) .
