السَّرَّاج القاري (٤١٧ - ٥٠٠ هـ = ١٠٢٧ - ١١٠٦ م) جعفر بن أحمد بن الحسين السراج القاري البغدادي، أبو محمد: أديب عالم بالقراآت والنحو واللغة، من الحفاظ،له شعر. من أهل بغداد، مولدا ووفاة. رحل إلى مكة والشام ومصر. أشهر تصانيفه (مصارع العشاق - ط) وله (مناقب السودان) و (حكم الصبيان) ونظم عدة كتب، منها (كتاب الخرقي) في فقه الحنابلة، جعله نظما. وخرَّج له الخطيب البغدادي (فوائد) في خمسة أجزاء (١) .
