    بَلْعَرَب بن سُلْطان (٠٠٠ - ١١٠٤ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ١٦٩٣ م) بلعرب بن سلطان بن سيف بن مالك اليعربي: ثالث الأئمة اليعربيين، من الإباضية، في عمان. بويع له بنزوى، يوم وفاة أبيه (سنة ١٠٩١ هـ وسار على سنن الصالحين من أسلافه، حزما وعدلا. ونشبت فتنة بينه وبين أخيه سيف بن سلطان، فقاتله، واستولى سيف على حصون عمان كلها إلا حصن (يبرين) فحاصر أخاه بلعرب فيها، فمات في الحصار. وكان فقيها أديبا، له شعر جيد (٢) . البَلْعَمي = محمد بن عبيد الله ٣٢٩ البَلْغِيثي = أحمد بن المأمون ١٣٤٨ بَلْفَقِيه = عبد الله بن حسين ١٢٦٦ البِلِّفِيقِي = محمد بن محمد ٧٧١ بلقاسم الزياني = أبو القاسم بن أحمد ١٢٤٩
