بلعرب بن حِمْيَر (٠٠٠ - ١١٦٧ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ١٧٥٤ م) بلعرب بن حمير بن سلطان بن سيف ابن مالك اليعربي: تاسع الأئمة اليعربيين في عمان. بويع له بنزوي، بعد خلع سيفابن سلطان (سنة ١١٤٥ هـ وقاتله سيف بن سلطان فظفر بلعرب. وجاء سيف بجيش من العجم، فاقتتلا سنة ١١٥٠ ففاز سيف، وانهزم جيش بعلرب. بعد فتنة كبيرة استعفى بلعرب من الإمامة، وتسمى بها سيف (سنة ١١٥١) ثم أعاده إليها بعضهم نحو سنة ١١٦٠ وحاربه أحمد بن سعيد البوسعيدي فقتله (١) .
