تَقِيّ الدِّين الحِصْني (٧٥٢ - ٨٢٩ هـ = ١٣٥١ - ١٤٢٦ م) أبو بكر بن محمد بن عبد المؤمن بن حَرِيز بن معلَّى الحسيني الحصني، تقيّ الدين: فقيه ورع من أهل دمشق. ووفاتهبها. نسبته إلى الحصن (من قرى حوران) وإليه تنسب (زاوية الحصني) بناها رباطا في محلة الشاغور بدمشق. له تصانيف كثيرة، منها (كفاية الاخبار - ط) شرح به الغاية في فقه الشافعية، و (دفع شبه من شبّه وتمرد ونسب ذلك إلى الإمام أحمد - ط) و (تخريج أحاديث الإحياء) و (تنبيه السالك على مظان المهالك) ست مجلدات و (قمع النفوس - خ) (١) .
