ابن العَلاء القُشَيْري (٢٦٠؟ - ٣٤٤ هـ = ٨٧٤ - ٩٥٥ م) بكر بن محمد بن العلاء بن محمد ابن زِيَاد، أبو الفضل، القشيري، ويقال له بكر بن العلاء: قاض من علماء المالكية من أهل البصرة. انتقل إلى مصر قبل سنة ٣٣٠ وتوفي بها عن نيف وثمانين سنة. له كتب، منها (أحكام القرآن) و (الرد على المزني) و (الأشربة) و (أصول الفقه) و (القياس) و (مسائل الخلاف) و (الرد على القدرية) قال القاضي عياض: ورأيت له كتاب (مآخذ الأصول) وكتاب (تنزيه الأنبياء ﵈ وكتاب (ما في القرآن من دلائل النبوة) (٣) .
