    مَدَام تَقْلا (١٢٨٦ - ١٣٤٣ هـ = ١٨٦٩ - ١٩٢٤ م) بتسي بنت نعوم كبابه: زوجة بشارة تقلا، أحد مؤسسي جريدة الأهرام، ومديرة الجريدة بعد وفاته أحد عشر عاما. ولدت في بيروت. من أسرة حلبية ورحلت مع أهلها إلى لندن، وقرأت العربية والفرنسية والإنكليزية. وتزوجهاتقلا (في مرسيليا) سنة ١٨٨٩ وتوفي (١٩٠١) فقامت بالإشراف على إدارة الجريدة وتوجيه سياستها. وفي أيامها كانت شدة الصراع الأولى بين سياستي الأهرام (الفرنسية النزعة) والمقطم (البريطانية المنهج) وتخلت عن العمل إلى ابنها (جبرائيل) سنة ١٩١٢ وتوفيت في فينا ودفنت في القاهرة (١) .
