أَمِين سَامي باشا (١٢٧٤ - ١٣٦٠ هـ = ١٨٥٧ - ١٩٤١ م) أمين سامي ابن الشيخ محمد حسن ابن الشيخ حسن بن حسن البرادعي المصري: مؤرخ، من العلماء بالتربية والتعليم. نسبته إلى (البرادعة) من قرى قليوب، كان أبوه وجده شيخين لها. تخرج في مدرسة الهندسة بالقاهرة، واشتغل بالتعليم فكان (ناظرا) لبعض المدارس، وجعل من أعضاء مجلس المعارف الأعلى. ولما تقدم في السن اختير (عضوا) في مجلس الشيوخ وتوفي بالقاهرة. له (تقويم النيل - ط) في تاريخ مصر، ثلاثة أجزاء وملحق، و (التعليم في مصر - ط) و (النفحات العباسية في المبادئ الحسابية - ط) .
