أَلْفَريد بُسْتاني (١٣٢٨ - ١٣٨٩ هـ = ١٩١٠ - ١٩٦٩ م) ألفريد بن جرجس بن شبلي بن أفرام البستاني: باحث، عمل في إحياء المخطوطات ونشرها. لبناني. مولده في (دير القمر) تعلم وعلم بها ورحل إلى اسبانيا (١٩٣٨) فأتقن الاسبانية مع الفرنسية وأقام في (تطوان) مدرسا " ومشرفا " على (الإذاعة العربية) فيها أيام الاحتلال الاسباني، ثم رئيسا " للقسم العربيّ في معهد الجنرال فرنكو. ونشر نفائس، منها (نبذة العصر في أخبار ملوك بني نصر) و (كليات ابن رشد) و (رحلة الوزير في افتكاك الأسير) و (دراسة عن الموسيقى) (٣) .
