    المَنْصُور الفاطِمي (٣٠٢ - ٣٤١ هـ = ٩١٤ - ٩٥٣ م) إسماعيل بن محمد بن عبيد الله المهدي، أبو الطاهر، المنصور بنصر الله: ثالث خلفاء الدولة الفاطمية العبيدية بالمغرب. مولده بالقيروان. قام بالأمر في المهدية (بإفريقية) بعد وفاة أبيه (القائم بأمر الله) سنة ٣٣٤ هـ وبويع سنة ٣٣٦ بعد أن فرغ من حرب أبي يزيد النكار (مخلد بن كيداد) فبنى مدينة بقرب القيروان سماها(المنصورية) ونقل إليها حاشيته وجنده. وكان حازما خطيبا بليغا. تسلم مقاليد الأمر وثورة مخلد بن كيداد (من أهل قسطيلة) في أشد غليانها، والفتن في البلاد قائمة، فقمع الأولى بقتل مخلد، ولم تفلّ الأخرى من عزمه. توفي بالمنصورية ودفن بالمهدية (١) .
