    السَّامي الْحَمُّودي (٠٠٠ - ٤٤٨ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ١٠٥٦ م) إدريس بن يحيى بن إدريس بن علي بن حمود: من ملوك الحموديين في مالقة وسبتة بالأندلس. ولي بمالقة بعد وفاة عمه محمد بن إدريس سنة ٤٤٤ هـ ولقب (السامي باللَّه) ثم لم يلبث أن أخمل نفسه وخرج كأنه تاجر، فقبض عليه في ريف غمارة وسيق إلى سبتة فقتل فيها (١) .
