    وَصْفي زَكَرِيّا (١٣٠٦ - ١٣٨٤ هـ = ١٨٨٩ - ١٩٦٤ م) أحمد وصفي زكريا: مهندس زراعي، بحاثة. كان مديرا لمدرسة (سلمية) الزراعية، في سورية، ثم مفتش وزارة الاقتصاد الوطني سنة ١٣٦٦ / ١٩٤٧ من كتبه (عشائر الشام - ط) جزآن من خير ما كُتب في موضوعة، و (الدروس الزراعية - ط) و (ذكرياتي عن وادي الفرات عام ١٩١٦ - ط) حققه وترجم لمؤلفه المحامي عبد القادر عيّاش صاحب مجلة صوت الفرات في ٥٦ صفحة كبيرة، طبع في دير الزور، و (زراعة المحاصيل الحقلية في بلاد الشام والبلاد العربية - ط) جزآن،و (جولة أثرية في بعض البلاد الشامية - ط) (١) .
