أَحمد المَعْني (٠٠٠ - ١١٠٨ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ١٦٩٧ م) أحمد بن ملحم بن يونس المَعْني: آخر أمراء آل معن، أصحاب بلاد الشوف وما يليها (بلبنان) ولي الإمارة بعد وفاد أبيه (سنة ١٠٦٨ هـ وفي أيامه كانت وقعة (الغلغول) عند برج بيروت بين القيسيين واليمنيين (سنة ١٠٧٧ هـ فظفر باليمنيين، واستقل بامارة بلادهم جميعها. واستمر مطاعا إلى أن توفي. ولم يعقب، فانقرضت به سلالة المعنيين وانتقلت الإمارة بعده إلى الشهابيين (٢) .
