    أَحمد فَائز (١٢٥٨ - ١٣٣٦ هـ = ١٨٦٨ - ١٩١٨ م) أحمد فائز بن محمود بن أحمد بن عبد الصمد فضل الدين بن حسن الكلزردي السعداني: فاضل يحسن عدة لغات، كردي الأصل، أكثر تصانيفه بالعربية. ولد في (كل زرده) من قرى السليمانية (في العراق) وانتظم في سلك القضاء فتنقل في جهات متعددة، ثم جعل من أعضاء مجلس المعارف العامّ بالآستانة، وتوفي فيها. له مؤلفات بالعربية والكردية والفارسية، فمن العربية (السحر الحلال) في تعريفات العلوم، يُقرأ على اثني عشر منوالا، و (كنز اللسن المكنوز) وفيهست لغات واثنا عشر فنا، وهو مرتب على أحد عشر جدولا، ولغاته: العربية، والكردية، والفارسية، والتركية، والفرنسية، والروسية (١) .
