العِصَام الأَسْفَرَايِيني (٨٧٣ - ٩٤٥ هـ = ١٤٦٨ - ١٥٣٨ م) إبراهيم بن محمد بن عرب شاه الأسفراييني عصام الدين: صاحب (الأطول - ط) في شرح تلخيص المفتاح للقزويني، في علوم البلاغة. ولد في أسفرايين (من قرى خراسان) وكان أبوه قاضيها، فتعلم واشتهر وألف كتبه فيها. وزار في أواخر عمره سمرقند فتوفي بها. وله تصانيف غير (الأطول) منها (ميزان الأدب - ط) و (حاشية على تفسير البيضاوي - خ) في الأزهر، و (شرح رسالة الوضع للإيجي - خ) في أوقاف بغداد، و (حاشية على تفسير البيضاوي لسورة عم - خ) في الرباط، وشروح وحواش في (المنطق) و (التوحيد) و (النحو) طبع بعضها (١) .
