ابن أَبي عَوْن (٠٠٠ - ٣٢٢ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ٩٣٤ م) إبراهيم بن محمد بن أبي عون أحمد بن المنجم، أبو إسحاق: أديب، من أشياع الشلمغاني وثقاته ببغداد. له كتاب (النواحي) في أخبار البلدان، و (الجوابات المسكتة - خ) باسم (الاجوبة المسكتة) في جامعة الرياض (٢٤٩ ص) (٤) . و (التشبيهات - ط) و (الدواوين)و (الرسائل) و (بيت مال السرور) قتله الراضي العباسي صلبا مع الشلمغاني، بعد أن عرض عليه أن يتبرأ من الشلمغاني ولم يفعل (١) .
